Athletic Coaching
All Athletic Coaches for SJUSD must be approved by the Governing Board before beginning to coach. This ensures that coaches have met all requirements such as having a background clearance, being certified in CPR, First Aid, concussion awareness, and sudden cardiac arrest, and receive training in the principles of coaching prior to working with students

CIF BLUEBOOK RULES:
This book is designed to assist school administrators and coaches with the everyday implementation of the interscholastic athletic programs. It is updated annually including new rules and regulations (ie. practice limitation, transfers, concussion protocol etc.) Read not only your section/sport, but all information related to athletics - rules/requirements etc. This book provides rules and protocols that are non-negotiable and must be adhered to.
