Mrs. Peñaloza is an Administrator of Instruction, Innovation, and Improvement for Riverside County Office of Education and a San Jacinto High School graduate. She was initially elected to the Board in 2020. Her present term expires in 2024. Mrs. Peñaloza currently serves as President of the Board.

Mrs. Burnett is a former teacher, a community volunteer and small business owner. She was initially elected to the Board in 2022. Her present term expires in 2026. Ms. Burnett currently serves as Vice-President of the Board
Ms. Rubio is a college student studying Business Administration. She was initially appointed to the Board in 2014. Her present term expires in 2026. Ms. Rubio currently serves as Clerk of the Board.
John I. Norman, Board Member

Mr. Norman was an educator for over 35 years. He graduated from Oregon State University and received his M.A. in Education from Azusa Pacific University. He also has a certificate in Food Science from Mississippi State University and an Online Teaching Certificate from U.C.L.A. Mr. Norman is a retired Mt. San Jacinto Community College professor and was the Department Chair, Health Sciences for many years. Mr. Norman was initially appointed to the Board in 2000. His present term expires in 2024.
Mrs. Ojeda is a former SJUSD teacher and aide (total of 40 years), as well as a graduate from the first Mtn. View High class to have a formal ceremony. She was initially elected to the Board in 2015. Her present term expires in 2024.
