Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee

San Jacinto Unified School District Invites Community Members to Serve on the Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee.

 

The San Jacinto Unified School District is accepting applications from district community members interested in serving on the Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee. Application forms and information regarding the committee are available on this page and at the Facilities & Operations office located at 905 Industrial Way, by contacting the Facilities Planner, Alexander Adame at (951) 929-7700 ext. 4680 or via email at [email protected]

 

The Independent Citizens' Oversight Committee has been formed in accordance with California law to ensure all authorized bond measure funds are spent only on projects listed in the voter-approved documents; to receive and review copies of annual financial audits of bond projects; and to provide information to the public on the progress of projects and expenditures of bond funds. Members on the committee must include representatives of the local business community, taxpayers' organizations, senior citizen groups and parents or guardians of students enrolled in the District.
