NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on November 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as practicable, at a regularly scheduled public meeting of the Board of Trustees of the San Jacinto Unified School District (the “Board”), which will be held as a “virtual meeting” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Board will conduct a public hearing at which it will consider entering into an energy service contract with FOREFRONT POWER, LLC, or its designated affiliate, for the installation of certain energy savings measures on property owned or controlled by the San Jacinto Unified School District.
At said meeting, the Board will hold a public hearing on and consider a resolution to adopt findings required by California Government Code section 4217.12 regarding whether any anticipated energy cost savings under the proposed contract exceed the anticipated cost of the proposed contract, and whether the contract is in the best interests of the San Jacinto Unified School District, including consideration of additional benefits the San Jacinto Unified School District may receive if the Board decides to enter into the energy service contract.
The resolution, agreement and supporting documents will be included with the Board’s regular public agenda for the November 10, 2020 meeting, which will be posted on the school district’s website at https://www.sanjacinto.k12.ca.us/ at least 72 hours before the meeting. The agenda will include instructions on how to access the meeting.

It is our mission within the Facilities and Operations team to provide the school district and the community with clean, healthy, safe, well-maintained and attractive schools. We want our buildings and our grounds to be not only attractive but also as comfortable and functional as possible. The goal is to furnish an overall environment that promotes the educational process. It is very important that parents, students, staff and our community be able to take pride in each and every one of our school sites.
Facilities and Operations is responsible for the site acquisition, design, and construction of new educational facilities, the modernization and maintenance of existing buildings and the safe and timely transportation of our students. We rely on the guidance provided by the District Strategic Plan as approved by the Board of Trustees and Measure V, the local general obligation bond approved by the voters of the San Jacinto Unified School District on November 7, 2006.
