In 2011, our Board of Trustees took proactive steps to reduce the amount of money we spend on utilities. Our District continues to face the dilemma of increased expectations and reduced state funding. Therefore, energy management is a necessity. Because rising energy costs have continued to increasingly impact budget dollars, the District has expanded our Energy Management policy.
