WorkAbility I

What is WorkAbility I?

The WorkAbility I (WAI) program aims to assist high school students in special education with their transition from school to work. The WAI program provides students vocational training that prepares them with the skills needed for the workplace and access to services that aid students in their transition. The WAI program also provides support for students in their transition to post-secondary education and independent living. The WAI program is funded and administered by the California Department of Education.
