On December 11, 2023 dignitaries, SJUSD staff and many family and friends gather at the groundbreaking celebration of the Rose Salgado Elementary School which will open in the fall of 2025.

oh my God, we're thankful for the special woman who the school is to be named for a woman who dedicated so much not this for her tribe also for this whole Community what a great tribute to Rose to name the school after her in a place that is adorned with some of the more incredible things in our Valley here and all show me a Gordmans that we have here there's no better tribute that I think we can have any individual then the name is cool after her and what an individual if it wasn't for her help more than likely she would have been appointed by the California governor it was supervisor position here and I'll just get so close without saying that Rose made an impact wherever she went and that's huge huge us a rose is always very proud of her accomplishments or accomplishment that was big new you live to the vet going over there is something Rose work really hard on and put in all the years and effort into getting that thing on Papa's was one of her pies moments when we open those doors and I know looking down today when she sees this guy breaking in this school opens it will be another older name for leaders for contributors for those who made a difference in their lifetime we all know Rose was that person he was constantly thinking about talking about find out where we searching what she could do text me see what we can do to improve upon service to others in her community and our communities this school will Energy nation and I will continue to make a huge in the lives of so many play best friend here's what we can all do together thank you my grandmother Rose was pushing this button because people the cheapest perseverance to stomp out ignorant bring people together and improve educational opportunities for our you wouldn't be inspired by her example to use our time on this Earth lift how to make $1,000 I'm providing the resources required to be all that they can be follow Monica
