Help Name the New SJUSD Virtual Technology Magnet School

Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, the District will convert the former San Jacinto Leadership Academy campus located at 1599 Malaga Dr. W, San Jacinto, CA 92583 to a new virtual technology magnet school that will serve students in our virtual learning program. The purpose is to:

- Provide an alternative to traditional in-person learning for our students and families
- Create a model online technology school "magnet"
- Create a school where both Mountain Heights Academy Independent Study and Synchronous Distance Learning are available, freeing up space at Mountain View HS to support additional students that would benefit from the alternative environment

Please use the links provided on this page to view the New School Naming Guidelines and to download a New School Name Nomination Form. A committee review of submittals and a compilation of final recommendations for Board of Trustee consideration will take place. A list of appropriate and qualifying names will be presented to the Board of Trustees for discussion and final selection on June 8, 2021.
