NEW Virtual Distance Learning School Option for 2021-22 School Year

On Tuesday, April 27th, at 5:00 p.m., SJUSD held a virtual town hall meeting to answer questions and review the highlights of the new distance learning school option for the 2021-2022 school year.

"We spent this past year instructing students in a distance learning environment, and we have learned a great deal about virtual teaching and learning," said John Roach, Assistant Superintendent Ed Services.  "We are excited to continue with the good practices that helped some of our students truly excel," he noted.

Additional information sessions will be held during the week of May 17.  The presentation provided at the town hall Zoom session is attached below.

Parents are encouraged to use the sign-up form now to ensure their student is accounted for in the new school planning.

All parents will be asked to complete pre-registration requests through Aeries parent portal May 3 - May 14, in order for us to plan and staff appropriately for a successful start to the 2021-2022 school year.
