The 2025 football season may be months away, but San Jacinto players are already putting in work. At the May 6 Football Showcase, over 25 college coaches came to scout and connect with our athletes. From effort to execution, they showed up. First home game: August 29!

On April 30, De Anza Elementary opened a 25-year-old time capsule from the year 2000! Despite water damage, staff saved notes and memorabilia. About 30 alumni and staff attended. One alum found his note from 25 years ago! A new capsule will be buried, ready for the next "reveal" in 2050!

SJUSD College Signing Days continued May 1 as the first graduating class of San Jacinto Leadership Academy celebrated their future paths. Students paraded with signs of their college, trade school, or military choices, signed commitment letters, and received medals.

On April 29, the Latino Advisory Parent Group hosted a Día De La Mujer event celebrating inspiring women. Students and families honored role models through art, biographies, and creative displays.

Congrats to De Anza Elementary for being named a PBIS Demonstration School by Riverside County Office of Education! On May 1, they welcomed educators from across the county to showcase their positive, student-centered practices.

On April 29, elementary and middle school choir students from around the district joined the San Jacinto High School choir to present an All District Choral Concert.

On April 28, the San Jacinto Unified School District Board of Trustees held the annual Golden Paw Awards, which recognizes extraordinary 6th-12th grade student achievement that is not usually acknowledged at school award ceremonies. Congratulations to all!

Congratulations our entire attendance team on their designation as a 2025 Model School Attendance Review Board Recipient.

The SJUSD Band-O-Rama on April 25 included performances by the SJHS symphonic band, an all elementary school band, an all middle school band and a grand finale featuring over 400 musicians of all ages.

Friends, family and staff gathered at SJHS on April 24 for College Signing Day to celebrate and support seniors as they committed to colleges, careers, and military service. We can’t wait to see all you accomplish!

Congratulations to San Jacinto High School AVID students Alondra Cuevas and Aiden Arias who were selected for the Prestigious Promise Scholar Program at UC Santa Barbara!

Family, friends and dignitaries gathered on April 24 to honor Cadets in the SJHS AFJROTC who received National Service Organizations Awards.

Our 4th graders had a blast at the Ramona Bowl, celebrating 102 years of Ramona! From galloping horses to California history and sweet treats, it was a day full of smiles and adventure.

A celebration for seniors who have committed to attend college, university, trade school or the military after high school graduation was held at Mtn. View Alternative Schools on April 17.
