For the fourteenth year, Soboba Foundation and the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians generously donated a bus full of toys for SJUSD students. On December 4, elected officials, community members, district staff, families and students and Soboba representatives formed a “bucket brigade” to empty the bus and sort items for the December 9 toy distribution. Thanks to our Family Engagement Center for organizing the event, to F&O for the decorations and to Nutrition Services for the tamales, cookies and hot chocolate! Special thanks to Soboba for their ongoing support of our students!
