Mr. John Wilder was named as Principal of Edward Hyatt World Language Academy during the July 25, 2023 Board of Trustees meeting. Mr. Wilder is new to SJUSD but has a 29-year education career, including teaching, leading as the Coordinator of English Learner Services and serving as an assistant principal and principal.
Mr. Wilder, who stated, “I believe strongly in the outstanding education students receive in dual language programs and am proud to be a part of developing biliterate students!” was able to greet the families and students of Hyatt WLA at their Back to School Night on August 2.
