With a ribbon-cutting in August 2019, Hyatt became another SJUSD school of choice, featuring dual language in Spanish/English for grades preschool through fifth grade.
“Similar to our district’s other school of choice, San Jacinto Leadership Academy, we are open to non-residents of San Jacinto,” explained Principal Inelda Luna. “We have an entrance assessment and some other criteria for our program, and we can enroll students in mid-year,” Principal Luna noted.
Research shows that multiple benefits exist for young students who acquire a second language, which is the very reason San Jacinto Unified School District transitioned a legacy campus into the Edward Hyatt World Language Academy.
