On September 16, Edward Hyatt World Language Academy’s TK–8th grade students came together for a vibrant Hispanic Heritage Month celebration filled with music, dance, culture and school spirit. Many students added to the festivities by wearing colorful attire representing their cultures and traditions.
The event featured performances by SJHS Ballet Folklórico and SJHS Mariachi Los Tigres! SJUSD Board President Mrs. Peñaloza also joined the celebration and encouraged students to appreciate and take pride in their heritage and families, while reminding them to always do their best.
A big thank you to the Hyatt PTA, our special guests, performers, families and staff who helped make this a memorable celebration of Hispanic heritage and the traditions that enrich our community!
