In honor of California Native American Day on September 25, local Bird Singers shared traditional songs and culture with students at several SJUSD schools throughout the week leading up to the observance.
Most performances were held during lunch and included student Bird Singers from the schools they visited, creating a meaningful opportunity to celebrate Native American culture, traditions and community.
