More than 250 students from San Jacinto Leadership Academy and San Jacinto High School came together on September 18 for another student-led Youth Equity Stewardship (YES) Symposium.
YES student leaders filled the day with student performances, activities, group discussions, challenges, prizes and LOTS of fun! Throughout the symposium, students were encouraged to connect with one another, share their voices and recognize the important role they can play as leaders on their campuses and in their communities.
What began in 2024 with a group of SJUSD students inspired by their own symposium experience continues to grow. We are proud of our YES leaders for creating an experience that empowers their peers to lead, connect and make a positive impact.
