Throughout September, SJUSD schools have been reminding students of an important message: You matter, you belong and you are never alone.
Dress-up days featured themes such as Disney Day, Think About Your Happiest Place; Inside Out Day, Dress as an Emotion; Minion Day, You Have a “Minion” Reasons to Be Here; Dot Day, Make Your Mark; and Twin Day, You Are Never Alone. Mental health and friendship-focused activities and classroom discussions also gave students opportunities to connect, have fun and support one another.
Because every student matters, every voice has value and everyone deserves to know they belong.
