Congratulations to 7th grade San Jacinto Leadership Academy student Emaia Bazaldua for being named a Top Three Finalist in the annual Directing Change Film Contest for her video, “Ways to Cope with Mental Health.”
The Directing Change Film Contest is for individuals ages 12 to 25 who want to combine creative expression with making a difference in their communities by creating films about mental health, suicide prevention, substance use, and other important topics.
Emaia’s recognition as a finalist highlights both her creativity and her commitment to promoting understanding and compassion around mental health.
