Students from Mountain View High earned top honors in this year’s Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) Student Video Contest. The winning team, Karen, Ariel, and Rebecca, served as writers, actors, and producers of the video.
The contest challenged students to create an original video that promoted responsible wastewater practices centered on the theme “Think Before You Flush: That’s Being Sewer Smart!”
The winning video, “The Nightmare Before Class,” received an almost perfect score, with judges noting it was “engaging and brought a lot of awareness” and that it “clearly communicated how customers can keep sewers healthy.”
Winners were congratulated by an EMWD representative and each received a $500 Amazon gift card.
