Elaina Urquiza, a student from Edward Hyatt World Language Academy, represented SJUSD at the California State Science and Engineering Fair on April 11-12 with her project, “Fold for Flight.”
After earning Gold at the Riverside County Science and Engineering Fair, Elaina advanced to compete alongside 882 students from 356 schools, presenting 725 projects from across California.
While she did not place, advancing to the state level is an incredible accomplishment. We’re proud of Elaina’s dedication and hard work!
