Innovative Educators Program Overview

Innovative Educators embrace technology integration across curriculum, instruction, and assessment to insure all students achieve academic excellence, personal growth, and social responsibility. Innovative Educators attend professional development and engage with a professional learning network both inside and outside the district in order to grow their skills, collaborate with others, and embrace professional learning communities of practice. Innovative Educators must have a growth mindset and be willing to take risks and not be afraid to make mistakes as part of the learning process. Innovative Educators model ethical and safe online behavior in support of digital citizenship. Innovative Educators grow as instructional technology leaders, sharing their expertise, experiences, and knowledge with other teachers and staff. The innovative educators cohort will help teachers provide the necessary skills to San Jacinto Unified students to be college or career ready and future ready learners.
