Five SJHS Students Receive 2016 Seal of Multiliteracy Award

Congratulations to San Jacinto High School students Kimberly Felix, Kimberly Lopez Alvarez, Arcelia Rosales, Pablo Vaca (not pictured) and Carolina Villegas for their accomplishment in a thorough award process that includes an application, writing samples, and an interview.  These students will also benefit from the Seal of Multiliteracy with having the presence of a seal on their graduation transcripts that verifies a high level of proficiency, often a highly marketable skill that is sought-after by many employers.
 
"I am very proud of them making it through such a lengthy and rigorous process for award," says Sandra Penaloza, Assistant Principal (pictured).  "This is just one example of the grit and tenacity of our students at San Jacinto High School.
