New School of Choice

We hosted virtual town hall meetings to answer questions and review the highlights of the new distance learning school option. The goal for each meeting was to provide our families with more detailed information in order to determine if the new virtual school is a viable option for their child. Having spent this past year instructing students in a distance learning environment, we have learned a great deal about virtual teaching and learning. Please note a virtual program may not be the right choice for all students and families. If your child has struggled in the distance learning environment, we do not recommend they enroll in the virtual school for the 2021-2022 school year and instead attend our five day per week traditional in-person instructional program that should be up and running in August, provided state and county public health guidelines allow.

You can review the presentation below shared with the Board of Trustees and at our initial meeting.  You can also view a video of the presentation and read through the Frequently Asked Questions if you were unable to attend one of our Town Hall Meetings.

If you are considering enrolling your child in our newly designed virtual school, please utilize the New Distance Learning Interest Form  (Español) to ensure your student is accounted for, in order for us to plan and staff appropriately for a successful start to the 2021-2022 school year.
